Floyd E. Proctor, 63, of 301 Louise Ave., died at 6:10 a.m. Sunday in Culver Hospital, where he had been seriously ill the last three weeks. He was born in Montgomery County on Sept. 29, 1905, a son of Elmer and Nannie Lewis Proctor. He was married in Crawfordsville on Dec. 28, 1948 to Goldia Stephenson, who survives. Also surviving are his mother; two brothers, Lester of Crawfordsville and Curtis of Waynetown, and nieces and nephews. Two brothers and a sister are deceased. Mr. Proctor was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. He was formerly a partner with his brother in the Layne roofing firm. Funeral rites are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home, with Rev. John Servies officiating and burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
